1. Introduction

Welcome to TruSec (“TruSec”, “we”, “our”, “us”), an AI-powered cybersecurity platform that provides threat intelligence, analysis, and decision-support capabilities.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of:

  • TruSec web platform (e.g., https://ask.trusec.io)
  • APIs, SDKs, and integrations
  • Security Answer Engine and enterprise features

By accessing or using TruSec, you agree to these Terms.


2. Definitions

  • “Service”: The TruSec platform, including all features, APIs, and integrations
  • “Customer” / “You”: Individual or entity using the Service
  • “User”: Authorized individual accessing the Service under a Customer account
  • “Content”: Data submitted, processed, or generated via the Service
  • “Connectors”: Third-party integrations configured by the Customer
  • “Output”: Responses generated by TruSec AI systems

3. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

You must:

  • Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain confidentiality of credentials

You are responsible for:

  • All activities under your account
  • Managing user access and permissions
  • Securing API keys and connector credentials

4. Use of the Service

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use TruSec to:

  • Analyze cybersecurity data
  • Query threat intelligence
  • Integrate with security tools
  • Support security operations and decision-making

4.2 Prohibited Use

You must not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful or malicious purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the platform
  • Interfere with system integrity or performance
  • Use the Service to build competing products using extracted outputs

5. AI-Generated Output Disclaimer

TruSec provides AI-generated insights and recommendations.

You acknowledge that:

  • Outputs may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date
  • Outputs are advisory in nature and not guaranteed
  • You are responsible for validating and acting on results

TruSec is not a substitute for human security expertise.


6. Customer Data and Ownership

6.1 Ownership

  • You retain ownership of all data you submit
  • TruSec does not claim ownership over your Content

6.2 License to TruSec

You grant TruSec a limited license to:

  • Process your data to provide the Service
  • Store and transmit data as required for functionality

6.3 Data Usage

  • We do not use your data to train general AI models without consent
  • Data is processed per the Privacy Policy

7. Connectors and Third-Party Services

TruSec allows integration with third-party services.

You acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for configuring connectors securely
  • Third-party services operate under their own terms
  • TruSec is not responsible for third-party data accuracy or availability

8. Security and Compliance

TruSec implements industry-standard security controls.

However:

  • You are responsible for your internal security practices
  • You must not upload data you are not authorized to process
  • You must comply with applicable laws and regulations

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

We may:

  • Perform maintenance or updates
  • Modify or discontinue features

We are not liable for downtime or service interruptions.


10. Fees and Billing

  • Certain features may require payment
  • Fees are billed per subscription or usage plan
  • Payments are non-refundable unless stated otherwise

11. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service, including:

  • Software
  • Models
  • UI/UX
  • Documentation

are owned by TruSec or its licensors.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the Service
  • Create derivative works without permission

12. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to:

  • Protect confidential information
  • Use it only for purposes related to the Service
  • Not disclose it without authorization

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • TruSec is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • TruSec's total liability is limited to fees paid in the last 1 month or One Hundred Dollars ($100) whichever is lower.

This includes:

  • Data loss
  • Security incidents (unless caused by gross negligence)
  • Decisions made based on AI outputs

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify TruSec against claims arising from:

  • Your misuse of the Service
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Infringement of third-party rights

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • There is misuse or security risk

Upon termination:

  • Your access will be revoked
  • Data handling will follow the Privacy Policy

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

We will notify you via:

  • Platform notifications
  • Email

Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
